This 1/4 size violin is simply but solidly built, with a spruce top, maple back and sides, and a hardwood fretboard, all cut from single pieces. It has a lovely but understated aged satin finish. While it’s important for each student to be measured for the perfect violin size, this 1/4 model is typically suitable for ages 5-7, a period when children grow rapidly, making instrument rentals far more practical than purchasing, even for the most serious of young musicians.
